Today’s large-group lesson featured tactile number cards for the number 5! Each child traced the outline with glue dots—once dry, they can feel the shape with their fingertips. We also read 5 Little Monkeys Sitting in a Tree, talked about stars having five points, and learned how the number 5 is formed (two little lines and one little curve).
